The successful Lancashire Golf County Academy Programme is the gateway to the county's talent development pathway, providing support for many of Lancashire's aspiring young golfers. The County Academy Programme is a stepping stone, creating the opportunity for talented boys and girls to transition into the County Performance Squads and beyond.

The boys and girls county academy programmes are designed for juniors who are showing an ever-increasing commitment towards developing their game. The boys programme currently provides 20 hours of structured coaching with highly experienced PGA golf coaches, and the girls programme for 2025 provides 16 hours, both of which include a Lancashire Golf County SAcademy Programme polo shirt. This will evolve in future years to offer the same number of hours coaching at the same price for both boys and girls. Small coaching groups based around individual and group sessions target the key skills for assisting committed juniors achieve their golfing potential.

The academy programme is designed to complement a young player's current development and not replace training with their home coach/club. To get the most from the programme and training sessions, all boys will need to be fully committed and practice newly learnt skills when they return to their home clubs.

Our Girls Academy Programme is designed for those either being introduced to the game or just starting out on their golfing journey at handicaps 36-54+. They receive 8 hour long lessons and a Lancashire Golf polo shirt.
